English 11 Week of November 19, 2012

This week the students will begin working on an I-Search research paper. This will be an extensive project that will take us up to final exams. I will post the first part of the guidelines in the sidebar to the right.

Outline for I-Search:
  1. Brainstorm Topic Ideas
  2. Form Research Question
  3. Outline Audience, Purpose, and Tone
  4. Begin Search Journal
  5. Outline Plan
Each component will have a deadline, which I will post here. The students will also be meeting with me to discuss each component of their I-Search paper.
