Film Lit Week of August 20, 2012

Welcome to the study of FILM!  I am looking forward to another exciting sememster of teaching something I am very passionate about...my love of movies. This class is more than just watching movies everyday. I teach the students about how to become a more observant viewer and critic, as well as develop a new appreciation for how film affects our everyday lives.

  2. Analyzed the film techniques used by Hitchcock.
  3. Discussed the characterization of Lisa, LB Jeffries, Lars Thorwald, and Stella.
  4. Analyzed the story and point of view of the main character--LB Jeffries.
  5. Completed a film response journal.
    • Comment on the significance the rear window plays in Jeff's life.

  2. Discuss the concepts of remakes.
    • Begin viewing Charade
